An AI department, installed — not subscribed to.
Ceradon builds edge-AI systems for defense. Intelligent Systems is our commercial practice: the same engineers design and install a connected system of AI agents inside your business — content, sales, operations, reporting — wired into the tools you already use.
You own everything we build. No per-seat licence, no lock-in, no dependency on us to keep it running.

The staffing math
These functions are usually solved with headcount. The table shows what staffing them typically costs on the open market, and what an installed agent system covers instead. One is a recurring salary line; the other is infrastructure you build once and own.
| Function | Typically staffed by | Typical market cost | Agent system coverage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Content & Marketing | Marketing director + agency retainer | $150K – $250K/yr | Content Engine — drafting, repurposing, scheduling in your voice |
| Sales Management | Sales manager + CRM admin | $80K – $120K/yr | Sales Manager — pipeline tracking, scoring, call analysis |
| Lead Response | SDR or inside sales rep | $60K – $80K/yr | Lead Qualifier — scoring, routing, escalation |
| Follow-up Sequences | Marketing automation admin | $50K – $70K/yr + software | Follow-Up Engine — sequenced outreach across channels |
| Operations & Coordination | 2–3 coordinators | $100K – $225K/yr | Operations + Delivery agents — coordination, tracking, onboarding |
| Reporting & Analytics | Data analyst + BI tools | $70K – $100K/yr | Company Hub — live dashboard, no manual assembly |
| Total | 6–10 salaries | $510K – $845K/yr | One installed system, owned outright |
Salary figures are typical U.S. market ranges for these roles, cited for comparison. They are benchmarks, not client results — an agent system covers the repeatable work of these functions; it does not make judgment calls for you.
Eight agents. One connected system.
Each agent is purpose-built and connected to your tools. Together they form a loop: content creates leads, leads become sales, sales become deliveries, deliveries become material for more content. The point is not any single agent — it is that they share context instead of living in eight separate tabs.
Content Engine
Turns raw material — recorded calls, notes, briefs — into drafted posts, emails, and articles in your voice, queued for your review before anything publishes.
Scope: drafting · repurposing · scheduling
Sales Manager
Tracks the pipeline, scores opportunities, and summarizes call activity so the state of every deal is visible on one screen instead of living in someone’s head.
Scope: pipeline · scoring · call analysis
Lead Qualifier
Scores and routes every inbound lead against criteria you set. Strong fits get escalated to a human; the rest enter an automated nurture track.
Scope: scoring · routing · escalation
Follow-Up Engine
Runs personalized sequences across email, SMS, and LinkedIn on the cadence you define, so no lead goes quiet because a human forgot.
Scope: sequences · multi-channel · cadence
Operations
Project coordination, meeting notes, task management, and deadline tracking — the administrative layer handled continuously in the background.
Scope: coordination · notes · deadlines
Delivery
Client onboarding, status updates, and milestone tracking, so your clients hear from you at every stage without you writing every message.
Scope: onboarding · updates · milestones
Company Hub
Revenue, pipeline, content, and delivery status on one live dashboard, with flags raised when a number moves in a direction it shouldn’t.
Scope: dashboard · alerts · reporting
Quality Assurance
Checks every piece of client-facing output for voice, accuracy, and compliance before it goes anywhere. Nothing ships on autopilot.
Scope: voice · accuracy · compliance
From first call to running system
About 14 days, with a few hours of your team’s time. We handle the rest.
Day 0
Discovery call
30 minutes. We learn your business, map your workflows, and decide together whether the math works. If it doesn’t, we say so on the call.
Days 1–3
Architecture
We design the system around your workflows: which agents run, how data flows, where automation triggers, what the dashboard tracks. Custom architecture, not a template.
Days 4–12
Build, train, test
We build and connect every agent, train the content side on your recorded material, and test against your real workflows. Your part: one recorded session and answering questions about the business.
Day 14+
Live & handed over
The system goes live and you get the documentation and access to run it. Ongoing monitoring and optimization are available as a retainer — useful, never required.
The defense work is the standard.
Your system is held to it.
Ceradon’s main business is building AI and sensing systems for defense applications, where "it usually works" is not an acceptable answer. Intelligent Systems is the same team applying the same engineering discipline to business operations.
Engineered, not assembled
Architecture first, then tools, then connections. We design the system before we build it — no bolted-together template stacks.
You own everything
The agents, the workflows, the dashboards, the data. It all lives inside your accounts and your business. Walk away anytime and it keeps running.
Infrastructure, not a tool
ChatGPT is a hammer. This is the house: connected agents that share context, so work done in one place compounds everywhere else.
Trained on your voice
The content side trains on your calls, posts, and way of explaining things — and you review the output. The goal is drafts you would sign, not generic AI copy.
A small footprint on your time
A few hours across the whole install: one recorded session on your voice and offer, plus answering questions. The busier you are, the more that matters.
Built to be inspected
Every workflow is documented at handover. You can see what each agent does, why it did it, and change it without calling us.
What we won’t promise
Most AI-agency pages are a wall of invented percentages. Our defense work is measured against ground truth, and we hold our marketing to the same rule: if we haven’t measured it, we don’t publish it.
Who this is for
We take on a small number of installs at a time, and a bad fit wastes your money and our build hours. The honest screen:
A likely fit…
- ✓ Roughly $1M–$10M/yr in revenue, with margins tightening as you scale
- ✓ Payroll is your biggest expense and the next hire is the default answer to every bottleneck
- ✓ You have tried agencies or internal hires for this and neither stuck
- ✓ Your operation runs on repeatable workflows an agent can actually be wired into
- ✓ You want to scale output without scaling headcount
Probably not…
- ✗ Pre-revenue, or still searching for product-market fit
- ✗ Looking to learn AI yourself — we install systems, we don’t run courses
- ✗ Expecting the system to run with zero human review — ours ships with a QA gate on purpose
- ✗ Your business model depends on you personally being in every decision
- ✗ Shopping for the cheapest option — engineered systems are not that
Frequently asked questions
Won't the content sound like AI wrote it?
The system trains on your material — your calls, your posts, your way of explaining things — and produces drafts in that voice. A QA agent checks every piece, and you review before anything publishes. The goal is content you would put your name on, not content that slips past detection.
Will this replace my team?
It is built to replace the hires you have not made yet, not the people you have. The repeatable work — drafting, routing, follow-up, status tracking — moves to the system; your team keeps the judgment calls and gets the hours back.
What if I want to stop? Am I locked in?
No. You own the agents, the workflows, the dashboards, and the data — it all lives inside your accounts, and you get the documentation at handover. An optimization retainer is available if you want us to keep improving it, but the system does not depend on us to keep running.
How is this different from ChatGPT or Copilot?
Those are tools; this is infrastructure. We design the architecture first — which agents run, how data flows between them, where automation triggers, what the dashboard tracks — then wire it into the tools you already use. The difference shows up in the connections, not in any single agent.
How much time does my team need to invest?
A few hours across the install: one recorded session covering your voice and your offer, plus answering questions as we map workflows. We deliberately keep your side small — the build is our job.
What industries does this work for?
The architecture is workflow-driven, not industry-templated, so the real question is whether your operation runs on repeatable processes — content, lead handling, client delivery, reporting. If it does, it is a candidate. We screen every applicant, and if we do not believe we can deliver, we will tell you on the call.
